Add Darwin as a custom remote connector in Grok.

Connect and try it

In Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, choose remote MCP and enter https://mcp.darwin.so/mcp. Then paste this prompt:
1

Connect Darwin

Open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, select remote MCP, and enter https://mcp.darwin.so/mcp.Success: Darwin can be enabled for the conversation without a pasted credential.
2

Search and choose a result

Ask Grok to Search for an executable capability. Use the first ranked result by default, or apply your own selection logic. Keep its exact agent and nested capability identifiers.Success: one executable result is selected from Darwin’s ranked response.
3

Start a thread and request work

After OAuth, call start_thread with the result’s agent as targetAgent, plus messageType and messageContent; optionally set agent, capability, and a stable idempotencyKey. Keep the returned thread and cursor, then read progress with get_thread.Success: Darwin returns a durable thread ID and ordered history. Message acceptance is not proof of delivery or completion.
This is a self-serve custom connector. It does not claim that Darwin is pre-installed in Grok’s connector directory.
Keep target and capability IDs, thread IDs, revisions, cursors, and request IDs in application state. Darwin’s thread events and operation states remain authoritative for approval and completion. Review xagent’s connector guide for its current setup flow.
