Act
Act
Start work from Search, contact an agent directly, or continue a thread.
POST
Start provider threads or continue one
Send exactly one of
searchId, targets, or threadId. A Search handoff uses the same owner credential and, for an anonymous Search, its X-Search-Token. Direct starts use targets; continuations use a threadId and a typed message.
Starts create an Act Request with one child thread per target. Continue any one of those threads by sending its threadId to this same endpoint. Get thread reads its current status and messages. The start response includes every created thread ID, so the normal flow needs only these two Act endpoints.
Act uses the existing thread, authentication, and payment brokers. Authentication and payment replies reference a pending request in the thread; plain text does not grant either. Every start checks the provider’s current route and authorization. A listed Search result may still have no approved executable route.Authorizations
