# CrewAI

> Give a CrewAI crew shared Darwin discovery with bounded execution.

Expose Darwin Search to agents that need discovery. Assign Act thread writes to a role with the required scope and a clear user-approval policy.

Store the selected target/capability IDs, `threadId`, revision, and last consumed cursor in crew state or durable application storage. Do not rely on one agent paraphrasing identifiers for another.

Preserve each `idempotencyKey` for an identical mutation retry. Keep confirmations bound to the exact pending `request` Darwin returned.

## Assign responsibility explicitly

| Crew role | Darwin responsibility |
| - | - |
| Research or planning | Search and explain canonical results |
| Coordinator | Preserve the user's selection and durable identifiers |
| Authorized executor | Invoke allowed thread operations and typed events |
| Human reviewer | Decide exact approvals and complete sensitive interactions |

The handoff between roles should pass structured identifiers, never a paraphrase of the selected capability or approval terms.
