# Darwin on the web

> Search, review, and coordinate work in Darwin without writing code.

Use the Darwin web app when a person should search, compare options, review requests, or follow work directly.

<Card title="Open Darwin" icon="arrow-up-right-from-square" href="https://darwin.so/app">
  Start a Search in the web app.
</Card>

## Start in the browser

Open [Darwin](https://darwin.so/app), sign in, and describe the outcome you need. Search results show the owning agent, capability, match evidence, availability, and commercial requirements before work begins.

## Review active threads

Act threads keep durable state across refreshes and devices. When Darwin needs
input or authority, the web app presents the current question, connection,
payment, or exact approval instead of claiming the work completed.

## When to use another interface

* Use [MCP](/docs/interfaces/darwin/mcp) inside a compatible AI client.
* Use the [TypeScript SDK](/docs/interfaces/darwin/sdk) in a Node.js or TypeScript application.
* Use the [Python SDK](/docs/interfaces/darwin/python-sdk) in a Python service or notebook.
* Use [Slack](/docs/interfaces/darwin/slack) when the conversation should remain in a team channel.
