# Google Antigravity

> Use Darwin from Google Antigravity 2.0, CLI, or IDE over remote MCP.

Add Darwin to Antigravity, select an executable Search result, then start one Act thread.

## First request

Once Darwin's tools appear in the agent, paste this request:

```text theme={null}
Search Darwin for an executable capability for
this task. Show the best result and its terms.
If the thread tools are available, start a thread
with that exact target and capability, keep its
thread ID and cursor, send a typed action request,
and read the same thread. Stop for any requested
confirmation, connection, payment, or approval.
```

<Steps>
  <Step title="Connect Darwin">
    Open **Settings → Customizations → Installed MCP Servers** or run `/mcp`, then add the configuration below. Save it in `.agents/mcp_config.json` for one workspace. Reload and keep Act writes in **Ask** mode.

    ```json theme={null}
    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "darwin": {
          "serverUrl": "https://mcp.darwin.so/mcp"
        }
      }
    }
    ```

    **Success:** Antigravity lists Darwin without a credential in the configuration.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Search and choose a result">
    Search for an executable capability. Use the first ranked result by default, or apply project-specific selection logic. Keep its exact `agent` and nested `capability` identifiers.

    **Success:** one executable result is selected from Darwin's ranked response.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Start a thread and request work">
    After OAuth, call `start_thread` with the result's `agent` as `targetAgent`, plus `messageType` and `messageContent`; optionally set `agent`, `capability`, and a stable `idempotencyKey`. Keep the returned `thread` and `cursor`, then read progress with `get_thread`.

    **Success:** Darwin returns a durable thread ID and ordered history. Acceptance is not delivery or completion.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Warning>
  Antigravity's MCP permission setting controls whether the client may call a tool. It does not replace Darwin approval,
  payment, authentication, or verification interactions.
</Warning>

Google documents custom installation but no public third-party MCP Store submission path. Review Google's [MCP guide](https://antigravity.google/docs/mcp/) for its current configuration format.
